Cocker Spaniel's

The American Cocker Spaniel is a sporting breed. It is a spaniel type dog that is closely related to the English Cocker Spaniel. Their life span is usually 12-15 years.

They are a joyful, outgoing, even tempered, sociable and trusting dog. They do need regular exercise but daily walks and romps in the yard will suffice. Most are good with other pets.

Their coat is rather thick and long. Colors are Black, Tri-color, White & Buff, Tan, Brown, Silver and Red. They weigh 15 to 31 pounds and are approximately 14-16” tall. They tend to gain weight easy and need to have a diet of just dog food (no people food).

They should be groomed every 6-8 weeks. Even if you are going to keep the coat long they will require nail trims and ears cleaned.
